It all started in 2019. Originally, there was only the essential. Sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatpants. Simple pieces, designed without frills, driven by a genuine desire to do good.

The cotton was organic, the materials carefully chosen, and production supervised in a controlled factory in Bangladesh.

At that time, the ambition was not to create a perfect brand, but an honest French fashion house, capable of experimenting, learning, and reinventing itself.
Each piece laid a foundation stone, each decision gradually shaped a vision.

In 2020, a meeting changed everything: the founder's encounter with Emma.
A human connection before it was a creative one, a love story that had already been present for several years. Passionate about fashion since childhood, Emma joined the adventure, training in sewing, styling, and pattern making to understand this industry in its smallest details.

Clothes are no longer just imagined; they are understood, deconstructed, and rethought.

In 2021, the limitations of industrial production are becoming apparent.

It's impossible to go further, to create unique, long-lasting pieces.

Our investigations reveal a finding: French know-how is becoming scarce, and almost no one manufactures in France anymore.

So, the brand deliberately slows down.

From 2021 to 2024, time becomes an ally.
The pieces are handmade, with patience and precision, in our own French sewing workshop.

Maison Rema is inspired by a time when a garment was repaired, handed down, kept. A time when artisanal and sustainable fashion responded to durability, not urgency.

In 2025, everything changes. Our artistic direction evolves, without ever breaking with the essential. Transparency remains at the heart of our relationship with our community and our customers. Our inspiration is fully rooted in our experiences: Provence, the Mediterranean.

Production becomes controlled and deliberately limited. No excessive industrialization, no race for volume.

Maison Rema chooses to centralize its production in Versailles, France, where every stitch counts and every detail has meaning.

Because Maison Rema was born on social media, the relationship remains direct and lively. What started as just a few customers has grown into thousands.
